Our Story
BEAM Partners was founded by Mike Baldwin and Alex Ewig, who together bring over 50 years of expertise in growing and leading multinational businesses. Their journey began in 1997 with a customer-vendor relationship that evolved into a successful business partnership. Over time, they helped one another scale their respective companies, ultimately selling them - one to a strategic buyer and the other to private equity. Through these milestones, they discovered a shared passion for business growth, underpinned by aligned philosophies and ethics.
With over 20 successful transactions and more than $500 million in deal volume, BEAM Partners has become a trusted investment firm, dedicated to adding substantial value to growth-oriented businesses.
The next chapter of BEAM Partners is focused on investing in exceptional businesses and management teams. As entrepreneurs with extensive experience spanning family-owned businesses to private equity transactions, we bring a unique perspective to the table. Our partnership was built on a shared passion for collaborating with other owner-operators and entrepreneurs, helping them grow and evolve their companies in an increasingly complex landscape.
